Local Conservatives are really pleased to have selected two excellent candidates, for the forthcoming by-elections on Thursday, 19th December, for the Scotter Rural Division vacancy on Lincolnshire County Council and Scotter Ward vacancy on West Lindsey District Council.
Mrs. Stephanie Rouse, Chairman of the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association, was delighted to announce that Mr. Richard Butroid and Mr. John Cox had been chosen as the local Conservative Party Candidates. She said:
“Richard and John are both dedicated, hard-working, experienced individuals who have all the qualities to really deliver for local people on the county and district councils."
“Supporting Richard and John is the only way local residents will get the Councillors they deserve.”
Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Cllr. Martin Hill OBE, said:

Leader of West Lindsey District Council, Cllr. Jeff Summers, added:
“Conservatives are proud to be leading the way at West Lindsey District Council, Lincolnshire County Council and in Government.
“We have a cohesive and energetic team of councillors at West Lindsey within our ruling Conservative Group. I hope that local people will add John Cox to our team.”
