Local Conservatives have enjoyed supper with Mrs. Helen Goral, the Chairman of Grantham Museum, at the White Heather, Caenby Corner, near Market Rasen.
Guests enjoyed a two course menu of Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding or Roast Turkey with Stuffing served with seasonal vegetables and roast & new potatoes followed by either Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake or Lemon Meringue Pie served with vanilla ice cream. Tea or Coffee followed with mints.
The Association's Chairman, Mrs. Stephanie Rouse introduced Mrs. Goral who spoke about her role as Chairman of the Grantham Museum, the need to protect and foster the heritage of the town and the campaign to erect a permanent memorial to the town's most famous daughter, Mrs. Margaret Thatcher, who was Conservavtive Prime Minister between 1979 and 1990. Mrs Goral took a number of questions from the floor and Cllr. Roger Patterson provided a vote of thanks.
