Local Conservatives have enjoyed supper with Robert Jenrick MP, the Conservative Member of Parliament for the Newark constituency, at the White Heather, Caenby Corner, near Market Rasen.

Guests enjoyed a two course menu of succulent Lincolnshire pork loin cooked in local cider with a sage and apricot Gravy followed by either creamy ricotta bruleé cheesecake with fresh berries and chocolate pencil or chocolate fondants with pouring cream. Tea or Coffee followed with mints.

The Association's Chairman, Mr. Ashley Perraton-Williams introduced Mr. Jenrick who spoke about his role as Parliamentary Private Secretary at the Home Office to the Home Secretary, Rt. Hon. Amber Rudd MP and the rollercoaster of politics since his election to Parliament in the by-election in 2014. Mr. Jenrick took a number of questions from the floor and Cllr. Roger Patterson provided a vote of thanks.
