Sir Edward Leigh, the Member of Parliament for the Gainsborough Constituency, has been keen to praise the work of care professionals following a visit to a care home within the constituency.
Sir Edward visited the Willow Court Care Home in Cherry Willingham on Friday, 19th June 2015 and met staff and residents. Willows Court is situated within a village of Cherry Willingham, and is a facility with 54 beds. It provides care for individuals in need of dementia, nursing, residential, respite and end of life care. Sir Edward said:
“I have been tremendously impressed by the facilities at Willow Court today and even more so by the care professionals working here. Their job can be emotionally very rewarding and draining, as well as physically demanding, and I know residents appreciate the kindness and consideration they receive from the home’s staff. Our local care professionals deserve all the praise they get for the excellent work they do.”
The home boasts a number of facilities including two lounges, a nurse call system, Wheelchair accessibility, an attractive outdoor area with a patio area and Sensory garden, an activity room, lift access, en-suite facilities, and a minibus.
