However, the MP of over thirty years experience, who has consistently supported local residents in their objections to the scheme. Writing to West Lindsey District Council, who are the planning authority, Dr. Sarah Randell of RES, the developer, stated:
“We would like to withdraw the application for Brown’s Holt Wind Farm.”

“This is yet another victory against these unwanted schemes in our beautiful part of Lincolnshire. Eight wind turbines would have blighted our big skies for decades to come. I am pleased that Dr. Randell has confirmed to the planning authority that they are withdrawing the scheme. I and my Conservative colleagues on West Lindsey District Council have a 100% record in seeing off these monsters!”
