Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association were pleased to welcome Emma McClarkin MEP to their November Supper Club, held at the White Heather, Caenby Corner in the centre of the Constituency.

Diners enjoyed a two course carvery supper of tender roast beef and/or clove infused honey-cured roast ham followed by apple pie, or cheesecake or cheese and buscuits.

Miss McClarkin address several dozen local supporters explaining about her role as a Member of the European Parliament and how she fights for Britain's interest within the European Union. Miss McClarkin, who is spokesman for the European Conservatives and Reformist Grouping within the parliament, talked a little about her remit and discussed the wider problems of the Euro-zone and the current economic difficulties being experienced by other member states. She took questions on a range of topics from the floor.
