Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association are pleased to announce they have moved into new office accomodation in Market Rasen.
The Association have agreed to take over a licence for an office in managed work space operated by Market Rasen Development Trust from Edward Leigh MP. This will greatly reduce the burden on the taxpayer for providing a Constituency Office for our local parliamentarian.
The office, located on the first floor of the 'Rasen Hub' at 20 Union Street, Market Rasen, and is expected to facilitate better communication and operational services for the party locally, and improve provision for the Association's staff. Market Rasen is also more ideally located near the centre of the constituency; with better transport links, including both bus and rail services.
Giles McNeill, Association Secretary, said:
"I think that this is the right thing to do. We have been very grateful to one of the party's local supporters for allowing us free use of their premises for a temporary period while we found appropriate accomodation for the future.
"We have confidence in Market Rasen, which is really impoving, thanks to MR BIG (Market Rasen Business Improvement Group) and the 'Portas Pilot' status they have attained.
"I am very grateful to a number of volunteers who assisted with the move of files and equipment from our old office."
