Do you want to improve your local area? If so, you might be the ideal person to become a new Conservative councillor on West Lindsey District Council in 2015.
Becoming a councillor is a rewarding experience. It gives you the opportunity to help your local community and be part of a team providing key services for your area. It is also a great way to gain political experience and useful skills in public speaking, debating and problem solving.
Councillors are a broad mix of people from our local communities. Currently we have 21 Councillors at West Lindsey, but will need 36 candidates in 2015. Not all sitting councillors will stand again and new councillors are good news. They mean fresh ideas and fresh enthusiasm, and that is good for our council and our local communities.
By becoming a councillor, you really can make a difference to your local community.
