Nettleham & Area Branch

Nettleham & Area Conservatives is a branch of the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association.

The Branch's area covers the West Lindsey District Council wards of:

Bardney
Cherry WIllingham
Dunholme & Welton
Nettleham
Saxilby
Scampton
Stow; and
Sudbrooke

An area which has a population of approximately 29,000 electors, there are fourteen district council seats (currently 9 Conservative 2 Liberal Democrat, 2 Lincolnshire Independent and 1 Independent) and 3 whole and 1 partial county council seats (all Conservative). Our local, Conservative parliamentarian, is Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Leigh.

The Branch's main functions are fundraising activity, social events, political events and local campaigning through co-ordination of the Local Conservative Action Teams (LCAT)

John Barrett

District Councillor - Nettleham Ward

John Barrett retired as Police Inspector from West Yorkshire after 30 years service. He was a Councillor in Snaith, East York’s, for twelve years being Town Mayor in 2010 and in 2011he was elected onto East Riding Council for Snaith area ward with a population of just under 9,000 run by 2 Councillo

Richard was born and has lived in the local area for the majority of his life and is therefore well aware of the challenges that living in a rural community can bring. Richard has a proven track record of supporting and representing the community as a Parish Councillor in Sturton by Stow and

Maureen Palmer

District Councillor for Cherry Willingham Ward

Maureen was brought up and educated in the small village of Guston in Kent. On completing her education she began her working life in the Women's Royal Army Corps.

Roger Patterson

Deputy Chair - WLDC Conservative Group

Roger was born and brought up in Portsmouth until he moved to Lincolnshire in 2001. Roger served ten years in the Army, five and a half years of which he served in Northern Ireland. Roger lives at RAF Scampton with his wife Nicola and their two sons.

Stephanie Rouse

Mrs. Stephanie Rouse is the Deputy Chairman Political of the Nettleham & Area Branch and was the Chairman 2011-2015 and 2016-2020. Mrs. Rouse served as the Chairman of the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association from March 2012 - March 2016.
