Market Rasen & Caistor Branch

Market Rasen & Caistor Conservatives is a branch of the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association.

The Branch's area covers the West Lindsey District Council wards of:

Kelsey Wold
Market Rasen
Waddingham & Spital
Wold View

An area which has a population of approximately 18,000 electors, there are eight district council seats (7 Conservative and 1 Liberal Democrat) and 2 county council seats (both Conservative). Our local, Conservative parliamentarian, is Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Leigh.

The Branch's main functions are fundraising activity, social events, political events and local campaigning through co-ordination of the Local Conservative Action Teams (LCAT)

John has recently moved with his wife, Alice and son, William, to Middle Rasen from Market Rasen where they had lived for more than a decade. John was delighted to have a second son, George, in the last few years, John attended local schools including De Aston School Sixth Form at Market Rasen

Tom served as a District Councillor for Market Rasen Ward between May 2015 and May 2019, and at the time he was West Lindsey’s youngest elected councillor, at the age of just 20 years and 11 months. In 2021 he was elected to Lincolnshire County Council in 2021 for the North Wold Division.
