Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association are urging local residents to make sure that they are registered to vote in time for the European Parliamentary Election.

The election will take place on Thursday, 22nd May 2014 but you can only have your say on who represents you in the European Parliament if you are registered to vote by the deadline of Tuesday, 6th May 2014. Registering is quick, easy and simple. All you have to do is visit: www.aboutmyvote.co.uk and print off a registration form.

Even if you think you are already registered, it is really posible to double check. Many people think they are automatically registered because they pay council tax, but this isn’t true. If you are unsure, and live in West Lindsey, you can call the electoral registration section at the Guildhall in Gainsborough to check on 01427 676628. If you live in the Wragby ward of East Lindsey, you can call the electoral registration section at the Teder Hall in Manby to check on 01507 601111.
