More than forty members of the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association have enjoyed the final Supper Club of 2014 at the Advocate Arms in Market Rasen.
The Christmas Supper Club is always popular and on this occasion was oversubscribed. As is tradition, Sir Edward Leigh, our very own Member of Parliament, provided a rousing address to conclude the evening. He spoke of looking forward to and the importance of the 2015 General and Local Election Campaigns.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous array of festive fair from the kitchen of the Advocate Arms in Market Rasen, the menu incorporated some of the finest local produce. Head Chef Josh Kelly leads a young and ambitious team who are constantly creating and striving to improve. The have a AA Rosette award and this year entered into the Michelin 2014 Restaurant Guide top 500 UK restaurants.
Mrs. Stephanie Rouse, the Association’s Chairman, highlighted a number of success the Association had enjoyed during the year and thanked a number of persons for their efforts during 2014, before introducing Sir Edward, who concluded by saying:
“We are very fortunate to be here in Market Rasen this evening. It is such a wonderful place. With your help, with your efforts in 2015 I know we can make more places in the country more like Market Rasen.”
Mr. Richard Butroid, The Association’s Deputy Chairman (Political), provided a vote of thanks.
