Jayne, is originally from Lincolnshire having been born in Louth and resided here for many years. From a young age, Jayne has travelled extensively with her family as her father served in the Royal Air Force in many countries. The youngest of 5 children, Jayne grew up in a close family unit and values the importance of this. After travelling, Jayne's father retired and the family lived in Cleethorpes.
Whilst in Cleethorpes, Jayne studied at Grimsby College; after which, Jayne worked in the Public Service Sector, this included the County Council and Civil Service. Jayne also spent some time as a Special Constable where she thoroughly enjoyed working in the community.
Jayne currently lives in Saxilby with her husband and family including her 2 children. However, Jayne works and has had friends and family within the Torksey Ward area for many years. She knows the area very well.
Jayne is thrilled to be the Conservative Party Candidate in the Torksey by-election and is passionate about the Environment and Community. Jayne very much looks forward to deepening her knowledge of the needs of the local residents and offering them support.
Above all Jayne is a caring, approachable individual who prides herself on being hardworking.
Jayne was elected in a by-election on Thursday, 24th October 2019.
