My story in life begins with the inspiring example set by my father, who served our country as a military officer in the Nigerian Army. Despite having only a National Teacher’s Certificate, he left the army and built a business in the education sector with unwavering dedication. His vision and hard work transformed his goals into reality, setting up one of the top three private primary schools in Osun State, Nigeria. Since 1987, this institution has shaped the lives of over 1,000 young people, including myself, and I’m proud to be an alumnus of this great investment in education and human potential.
This upbringing gave me a deep appreciation for resilience, community impact, and the transformative power of education. It inspired me to carry forward the legacy of making a positive difference in people’s lives.
In the summer of 2022, my job brought me to Gainsborough, a welcoming community that quickly became my home. The warmth of the people inspired a new sense of purpose in me, leading me to stand as the Lincolnshire County Councillor. I’ve worked tirelessly and continue to serve people in various roles in my career and outside this wonderful market town. My efforts have extended to volunteering, leading weekly youth meetings for my local parish in Gainsborough and supporting programs that empower disadvantaged communities.
My Personal Story:
Living, studying, and working internationally has enriched my perspective and deepened my commitment to service. I met my wife, Judith, in Lagos, Nigeria, where we spent several years before moving to the UK. Together, we are raising three wonderful children—who inspire me every day with their energy and curiosity.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active through lawn tennis, honing my public speaking skills, and connecting with others to create meaningful change.
