Local Elections to Lincolnshire County Council will take place on Thursday, 1st May 2025.

Candidates for May 2025

All candidates for the County Council elections this year have now been selected and approved by the Executive Council of the Association. Incumbents Ian Fleetwood (Bardney & Cherry Willingham); Jackie Brockway (Nettleham & Saxilby); Richard Butroid (Gainsborough Rural South); Rom Smith (North Wolds), are all standing again. Additionally we welcome as new members to the candidate team Glen Thompson (Gainsborough Trent), Sheila Bibb (Scotter Rural), Tracey Coulson (Welton Rural) and Olayide Olumeko (Gainsbrough Hill). At this time we express our thanks to Sue Rawlins and Clio Perraton-Williams for their hard work on behalf of their respective constituents.

Whereas the Labour Party receive millions of pounds each year from the trade unions, to fight our campaigns locally we are entirely reliant on the support of individuals.

It is a common misconception that there is money available from government or the central party nationally to help pay for our local campaigns. This is not the case. We raise all the money for our campaigns locally.
