Following the resignation and subsequent sad and untimely death of Stuart Curtis who represented the Sudbrooke Ward on West Lindsey District Council, a by-election will take place on Thursday, 16th November 2017.

By-elections take time, effort and money to deliver a winning campaign and we need your support. It is a misconception that there is money available from the national party to pay for election campaigning. This is not the case. We rely entirely on financial donations from our local members and supporters.

Vote by Post
If you think you might be away, or might not get to the polling station, or even if it will be just one less thing to remember, you can choose to vote by Post. Details can be found by clicking here. The deadline to apply for a new postal vote for this by-election is 5:00pm on Wednesday, 1st November 2017.
Suspension of Campaigning
This by-election was called in an untimely, and unnecessarily precipitate, fashion by two local electors. As such, the local Conservative party is disappointed that this means that a considerable part of the campaign for the by-election will be undertaken prior to former district councillor Stuart Curtis' funeral.
As a mark of respect we will be suspending our campaigning efforts from noon on Thursday, 2nd November and resuming on Saturday, 4th November, to coincide with plans for the funeral.
